Please accept my thanks for your continuing support for our business and we very much look forward to working with you in 2017 for the benefit of all your students.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Limerick Students’ Union chooses MSL for new online elections system
We start with hot-off-the-press news that ULSU has chosen to update its online elections system with a new digital solution from MSL. The MSL Elections system will integrate with HEAnet’s federated access service, Edugate, and will contribute to the Union’s delivery of its 2016-2020 strategic plan. Read the Limerick SU news in full.
Voting on your App
The next release of the MSL App introduces Election Voting and will be available for Officer Elections in Term 2. This development will come hot on the heels of a slick new registration process for the App which now only requires students to register with their university number or any email address linked to their account. Look out for more announcements and keep checking the Release Notes on MyMSL for updates on all new features and developments.
Loughborough SU - survey and workshop
Loughborough Students’ Union has been learning about all the work other unions are doing on their MSL systems and understands the many wider challenges that everyone is facing. They believe that that many hurdles could potentially be overcome with some new developments and so want to hold a workshop with as many Unions as possible to discuss these ideas and work on some collaborative projects. If you are interested please could you fill in this survey by the 15th December and they will set a date for a workshop in the new year.

The MSL Dev Diary for Q4 2016
Rather than a deep dive on one topic this issue of the Dev Diary is a bit of an overview of what we have been working on and what we are currently working on. The intention is to flesh out the Roadmap. Our New Year’s resolution is to do more of this sort of thing provided it is useful so let us know if it is. Read the Dev Diary.
e-Tickets for your events and venues are now available
If you missed last month's announcements, we're pleased to bring you details of a recent development to the MSL System's virtual ticketing feature. Convenient e-Tickets can now be offered to your customers, also opening up secondary ticket sales on third party sites. A simple configuration enables your system to output an email per online ticket sold. The email contains multiple tickets as PDF attachments and each attached ticket contains a unique barcode for validating individual entrance to an event or venue. If you are interested in using the e-Ticket feature for your events and venues, please contact us for a quote.
