Sending our best wishes to the fabulous MSL Community...
A message from Gary Bryant - Chief Executive, MSL
As 2020 draws to an end and we all look forward to a well-earned break over the festive period, it is impossible to ignore the challenges this year has brought. However, I prefer to remember this year for the incredible commitment our clients have shown in providing support and innovative ways for students to feel part of a community; when that fundamental part of university life was taken away from them, we saw students’ unions stepping in to fill the gap as best they could and we were so pleased to be able to support you in your endeavours.
The MSL team has always been proud to have its base in the heart of a students’ union and we have missed the buzz of ideas and energy that comes from the staff, student officers and members who bring a union to life. So we were delighted to ‘meet’ so many of you when you joined us over the summer months for our MSL 2020: You’ve Got This! programme of online training and briefings. We know you took away lots of ideas from those sessions and we are excited to be planning more opportunities for you to learn and exchange ideas with your SU community next year.
On behalf of the MSL team, I would like to wish you a peaceful festive break and a happy return to 2021.
An MSL Fair is not just for Christmas..
'Tis the season to be jolly and we know how hard our MSL community has worked to get students and staff into the festive spirit, even as students headed home. We’re especially delighted to see that Christmas Fairs went ahead – virtually, of course – giving a welcome opportunity for talented students to sell their products over the festive period. The MSL team is pleased as the proverbial Christmas punch that our creative clients put together attractive and engaging fairs using resources available in their MSL System. With Refreshers just around the corner, we hope some of these ideas will inspire you for your next fair. Read the blog post.
