A busy summer ahead - and lots of opportunities to meet colleagues from your MSL community!

2nd July 2019 - This month, we welcome Gary Bryant to the MSL team - he joins as our new Chief Executive and will be meeting many of you over the coming weeks and months. If you plan to be at this week's NUS Trade Show, you can meet Gary then as he will be in attendance on our stand B76. 

If you missed our last update, we bring you more details of our extensive summer/autumn training opportunities below. We have a great mix of web based and on site training so if you can't spare time out of the offfice, you can still join in and refresh your knowledge before the organised chaos of Freshers begins!

University of Cumbria Students' Union streamlines their student groups' processes 

As a multi-site Students’ Union, with a high level of distance and workplace learners, developing remote access to core services is a priority. MSL’s Student Group Finances module will allow our student leaders to easily manage their club or society through an accessible system which isn’t dependent on them being on campus. We’re very excited to be developing this service that enables and supports our members’ interests and which puts students firmly in charge – where they belong!

Expand your knowledge with our most extensive summer training schedule yet!  

We have a training session to suit nearly everyone in your team this summer with options for web training and face-to-face sessions here at MSL's offices. We'll be covering Volunteering, Freshers prep, Student Voice, Elections and all your MSL Basics (memberships, products, events and website) starting from next week going right through until October.  NUS Trade Show - time to meet the team and our new Chief Executive!

If you're coming along to Birmingham for the NUS Trade Show, we'd be delighted to see you on stand B76. We'll be on hand to show you some of our newer developments including Activities Management, Student Group Finances and Grant Applications plus we'll have product specialists available to advise on pre-Freshers prep and to answer your "how do I....?" questions. Plus our new Chief Executive, Gary Bryant, will be in attendance and looking forward to meeting some of our MSL community for the first time. Book a time to meet up.
