City of Glasgow College Students’ Association implemented the MSL System in 2019 to maximise opportunities to reach student members. Their new online facility included a website, clubs and societies resources, events and ticketing, student voice tools and integrated elections - and a volunteering & employability hub followed in 2020 to support students keen to participate after the unprecedented disruption to their extra-curricular enrichment following Covid.

The MSL System initially provided comprehensive membership management and participation tools plus online elections to help the Association’s presidential team and executive committee to engage with and represent all students at the College. However, this transition to more digital engagement proved so successful that MSL's Volunteering & Employability platform was the next step in the Association's digital transformation.

With over 27,000 student members of the Students’ Association, the MSL System supports the Association's delivery of its three year strategic plan to ensure everything it does is aimed at making sure student members have the best possible experience while at City of Glasgow College.

Kevin Ward, Students' Association Co-ordinator at City of Glasgow College Students’ Association commented:

We are delighted with our new website from the look through to the functionality. Working with MSL has been the perfect solution as we seek to further enhance how we communicate with our members. The membership engagement system will undoubtedly have huge benefits to how we improve the services and representation that we provide for our students.”

Gary Bryant, Chief Executive of MSL, said:

The MSL team is delighted to be supporting the City SA team with their student engagement initiatives. The MSL System is already proven within the college sector and our work with City SA now shows how suited it is for meeting the challenges presented by a large dispersed student community.
